Open 24 hours and one of only 2 vets that treat birds in the area! They keep you up to date on your animal when it stays overnight with pictures and updates and the staff is great (and many of them speak English!). I definitely recommend them.

They hands dowm saved the life of my pet gecko! Although she was not an expensive fancy pet, the four veterinarians who I had contact and consulted with gave Daphne full attention and concern! I was given the impression she was in good hands., that the pet's life came first, the vets are there to help and love what they do. For the things that positively impressed me: - The initial price that seemed high proved to be much well invested as she got more attention than any human would in human hospitals in the region. - The vets (least Cassio and Daniel) are not willing to take your pet (and money) away and intern or do dangerous procedures unless absolutely required. Likewose, they do sell some of thevmedicine they prescribe; but give you the option to source yourself (like, manipulating it in a competent pharmacy). - The team is super knowledgeable and went out of their way to explain everything about Daphne's situation, what couldn't be clearly identified (the challenges), and even what every prescribed medicine was about! - They have a partnership with an ultrassound specialist who is super sensible and helped immensely in the time Daphne most needed! I can't thank enough drs Cassio, Daniel and Liliane for their vital role in Daphne's ongoing recovery! - After the first consulting, I got direct contact with the vet team so I could quickly sort out vet care in the case of problems with her treatment and recovery, then I was encouraged to send updates of her health to that channel. - For one month after first consultation I could go back for follow-up consulting without extra consulting costs (procedures still charged, and I found them quite affordable). - Excellent communication between the vet team, taking Daphne to the vet in current shift was seamless and they were well aware of the whole case; something also not seen very often in human care institutions! - This is the one and only 24/7 exotic vet clinic in the city, maybe the whole state; the one and only other clinic is commerce time only and consultation price higher. - The team is very capable. They don't need you to hold your pet still for procedures like other renowned vet hospitals allegedly do. We owners love our pets and it can be painful to restrain them in times of need without proper anatomy knowledge. - The attendants are very knowledgeable and were super kind at all times! - They are all used to strange people like me owning even stranger pets! For the lacking fifth star, a few issues: - Some questions, especially by the end of the month period, didn't get answers and I am not sure how to follow from this point with Daphne's treatment -- it's not an emergency anymore, and she's showing great improvement; - I missed some introductions, like who were all the people gathering in the consultation; I went ahead and asked them myself, after I started feeling more comfortable :) - A vet in one of the shifts were not very sensible, in a crucial moment of Daphne's illness I contacted them via the comms channel; the person gave me the impression they just wanted me to take Daphne to intern, that she was old, that she had this or that... very despairing. I'm sure I didn't meet them in one of the consultations and feel thankful I didn't. I put myself together and scheduled return to the next vet, who was awesome! - The most uneasy moment while in the clinic was when the vet took Daphne for a procedure. They go upstairs and we're left to our prayers. :) I wish I could watch. Was left wondering their reasons, like "feeling pressed" by the owner's gaze or something; second floor is a mystery! ^^ -- In that, before, they asked my permission, and explained thoroughfully the procedure; after that, the vet shown what was made and explained further more until I had no more questions. Overall, the experience was very positive and I would no doubt return to them even if there were plenty of exo clinics around! And so I did return, and they are helping me watch Daphne's health!
